Bridesmaid
Britt has been Morgan's best friend since their senior year in high school. For over 13 years, and a collective ten moves in three different states, these two have leaned on each other through thick and thin. Blossoming from first period Anatomy and Physiology class, and cultivated through show choir rehearsals and loooong competition trips, Morgan was honored to be Britt's maid of honor in her marriage to her middle school sweetheart in 2012. Years of sisterly love and enjoyment of musicals keeps this relationship strong, and now Morgan is grateful to have Britt stand beside her on her special day! Morgan simply adores Britt's budding family, and cannot wait to get to know her little girls better!

Morgan met Steph & Frank by happenstance at a since-extinct Richmond watering hole, Baja Bean, when Steph was a new resident of Richmond, and Morgan had just finished her degree at VCU, about eight years ago. An instant friendship was formed over weekly taco & margarita girls nights, and was solidified through shared experiences as starting professional women in northern Virginia. Stephanie loves to joke that she has moved to follow Morgan around the state, only for Morgan to move back to Richmond (please come back!). Two years ago, Morgan was by Steph's side while she and Frank solidified their unity, and Garrett earned the title of "MVP" for his help during their wedding. “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: ‘What! You too? I thought I was the only one.”

Katie and Morgan are a smaller bond in a large group of engineering school friends from VCU, but they initially met in VCU's a cappella group, the Notochords. Katie's unwaveringly positive attitude and incredible drive has been a constant over the last decade. The Lundbergs' river house has become a summertime tradition for the close-knit group, with many heart to heart conversations taking place at a card game on the back porch or while watching shooting stars on the sand bar. Every time a "Lady Morgan Barlow'' appears on the postage of a card, she breaks out in a smile ear to ear, for Katie lets you know that she's thinking about you by sending such things. Katie and Morgan love to ride ALL OF THE RIDES, especially during Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens any and every chance they get.
Groomsman
Steven and Garrett met in 2008 through mutual VCU engineering school friends. Their shared love of VCU basketball has led to many memorable days of camping out in stadium lines, traveling to road games, and rushing courts in celebration of championships over the years. Since graduating, they have conquered many projects big and small together, from starting work as Navy civilians on the same day in 2009 to helping out on the Halls’ farm, conducting clandestine grilling operations, roughing up Morgan’s beloved golden retriever Loue, and figuring out how to open a coconut. Garrett was honored to be Steven’s best man when he married Katie in 2013, and is proud to have them both in the wedding party!

Bryan is Garrett’s older brother, and has been a trailblazing figure for him in many things over the years. As kids, he taught Garrett how to wrestle someone with a significant reach advantage - whether he wanted to learn or not. In school, Bryan was Garrett’s first guitar hero and inspired him to take up the instrument as well. Not long after leaving home, they met back up in Richmond while Garrett was at VCU, where Bryan was a guide to life, relationships, cooking, and the best spots in the city. Garrett and Morgan are honored to have Bryan in their wedding party and are excited to live down the street from him, Kerrie and the kids!

Pop the popcorn, Mel has arrived! This wonderful woman has so many tales from Garrett's school years, and is not afraid to grab your attention. When she's not off winning awards for her magnetism and drive, she is hosting get-togethers with her adorable and loving family. The stories and the combined whiteboard/napkin "artistry" showcase the number of inside jokes Mel and Garrett share, speaking to the strength and character of their unique friendship.
