In a world full of profiles and possibilities, we found something rare: a real connection. What began as a casual conversation on Tinder quickly turned into hours of laughter, deep talks, and the kind of chemistry you can't fake. Our first date was simple, but unforgettable. She came over and we played cheaters monopoly with my sister and then we all played beer pong (with water) in a night filled with laughter we were already planning our second date. Our second date came up a few days after that night, I picked her and we went to a barn that was turned into huge book store. After a week of hanging out everyday and hours on the phone I surprised her at school with flowers and took her out for lunch. At Chick Fil A with a mouthful of lemonade I asked " wanna make it official?" she said "sure why not" and our adventure began. Fast forward a year of memories we moved to Orlando Florida to further my education in motorcycle mechanics and we bought our first apartment. Even though we never made it to the beach we had a year filled with adventures such as going to Disney, making best friends, going to national parks, and our weekly date of going to Millers Ale House to watch the Capitals play. After those adventures we moved back to Maryland so Morgan could get her bachelors degree in healthcare administration. After a year of saving up we started our house buying journey, we fell in love with a little town home in Parkville Maryland. Ten months later I decided it was time to ask the BIG question. First I spoke with her mom about using her wedding ring as a engagement ring because Morgan had always wanted to use it, she agreed excitedly. Next was trying to get the ring and have it sized correctly where I tapped into my super cool ninja spy skills to get get the ring from her moms then to the jeweler. Once I got to the jeweler they told me it was going to be weeks which did not go along with my proposal plan of asking on Valentines day. Thankfully they were able to get the resizing done early and got the ring back to me well before the date, the only issues with this is now I had to hide the ring until the night of. The night came and she had no idea (or this is at least what she tells me) I asked her to let Ember outside which she was super confused and annoyed because we had just sat down for dinner at the house, she got up let Ember out came back to sit down and found me now standing. She walked past me to go sit back down and turned to see what I was doing where she then found me down on one knee asking her " wanna make it official? ". She instantly went into tears asking me if I was joking and began jumping around saying yes. From a swipe on Tinder to a proposal in our living room, our story has been anything but ordinary — and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’ve laughed our way through game nights, moved across states, chased our goals, and built a life full of love (and a lot of Chipotle).
