Carrie and Morgan met through their sorority Chi Omega in college and backpacked in Europe together after graduation (And by "backpacking" they stayed in private hostels because they didn't trust staying with strangers but still wanted the "backpacking experience"). Although they haven't lived in the same city since Columbia they have stayed best friends often traveling to visit each other and having girls weekends. Carrie and Morgan love having wine nights together and coming up with solutions to solve all the worlds problems. When Morgan planned her wedding a little over a year after Carrie's she made Carrie promise not to be pregnant at the wedding so they could really enjoy! Carrie, being the best friend that she is, upheld her promise and sacrificed being pregnant at her own wedding and will not be pregnant at Morgan & Corey's wedding and is the proud mom of beautiful baby Joey.
Shannon Parsley Martin

Shannon and Morgan have been best friends since the 7th grade. They have grown up from awkward middle schoolers through each stage of life. Morgan stood by Shannons side to get married in 2018 and now Shannon is standing by Morgan to get married 5 years later. Growing up, each others homes were second homes and families. Through thick and thin and whatever trouble these two have gotten into over the years they always have each other's back! Shannon and Morgan have always been the sisters that they didn't have and enjoy being able to be their goofy selves together! From making up awkward dances to songs, driving around listening to cd's, visiting each other in college and having date nights with the future husbands, these two have enjoyed growing up together and can't wait to keep on going through life together!
Stephanie Erickson

Stephanie is Morgan's sister-in-law and married to Morgan's brother, Kyle. Morgan is so excited to finally have a sister! When they first met, Kyle introduced her as his friend the "photographer" to take graduation pictures. After spending more time together and Kyle's poorly thought out attempt to hide his girlfriend, Stephanie and Morgan started getting to know each other more and Morgan loves spending time with her and seeing her brother so in love. Morgan couldn't have dreamed of a better person to marry her brother and be her sister-in-law.
Kaitlyn Gantt Waid

Kaitlyn and Morgan met through their sorority Chi Omega at the University of South Carolina. Both are Charlotte Natives and people always assumed they were friends from home because of how close their bond was and is. Although they did have mutual friends in high school, they never crossed paths until college, quickly becoming besties and Morgan and Kaitlyn doing just about everything together! Morgan was actually there the night Kaitlyn met her now husband James and has been there to watch their relationship grow from Pavs to the alter to becoming new parents! Morgan and Kaitlyn have a friendship that is so genuine and they have always had each other's backs through the good, the bad, and the ugly! From twerking at Pavs to learning to be functional adults they always have a blast together.
Carley Brunetto

Carley and Morgan met through mutual friends at the University of South Carolina. They haven't lived in the same city since college but have always made an effort to visit and stay in touch via FaceTime and texts! Carley first lived in Arlington, Virginia after graduating and then moved to Mount Pleasant, SC. Morgan loves visiting Charleston and Mount Pleasant and even though Carley is a nurse she would come off of a 12 hour shift and still come meet up with Morgan in town. They always have the best time together and bond over their love for their spoiled fur babies!
Anna Lynch

Anna and Morgan have never lived in the same city but became best friends through Carrie when they both lived in Charleston. The two quickly hit it off and became best friends. FaceTime has been their best friend even before covid. Morgan has a long standing joke that Anna will ALWAYS answer a FaceTime call from her even if she can't talk and/or is busy but Anna always answers even to say "hey, sorry I'm at a concert I will call you later!" Morgan also always tests this out on Anna and Anna always passes the test! Anna's boyfriend Wade also gets along great with Corey so they four of them love to hangout and Morgan and Corey are so excited they live closer after moving from Miami to Atlanta!
Cody Treece
Best Man
Cody was Corey's first friend when he moved from Charlotte to Locust, NC in 2001. They became fast friends when Corey noticed Cody and his brother playing baseball in the harvested corn field that separated their houses. They have been best friends ever since and managed to stick together through two decades of life. They grew up beside each other and now live 4 miles apart. Corey feels extremely lucky to have someone in his life like Cody. Cody also opened up their home allowing Morgan and Shadow to live with them when Corey and Cody lived together and eventually Cody and Jax lived with Morgan and Corey in their new house when he was renovating his house a few miles away.
Carson Hartis

Carson is Corey's younger brother. He loves the outdoors and has lived more adventures than Corey despite being the younger sibling. He’s far more adventurous, bold, daring, hard-working, and diligent than Corey could ever hope to be. He will be traveling across the country for the wedding and Corey and Morgan couldn’t be more thankful.
Kyle Brinton

Kyle is Morgan's younger brother and soon to be Corey's brother-in-law. Corey hasn't gotten to spend as much time with Kyle as he would like due to distance but they have a lifetime to fix that and a lot of family events that they get to enjoy each other's company. Corey had the pleasure of being one of Kyle's groomsmen when he married Stephanie and loved celebrating Kyle and getting to know his friends better. Kyle has always made Corey feel like a part of the family and looks forward to gaining another brother.
Chris Mitchell

Chris and Corey met in college freshman year but didn’t really get to know each other until sophomore year when Chris transferred from UNCC to App State. They lived together for a couple years in college and for many years after college. They have the type of friendship that even if they don’t see each other for prolonged periods of time due to the busyness of life, when they see each other it’s as if no time has passed.
Chaz Hagen

Corey met Chaz on the STEM floor of their dorm freshman year. They were both Computer Science majors. Chaz is the guy that opened the door for Corey to have so many great people in his life. If it weren’t for him, Corey wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet Chris and Hunter who all went to high school together at Providence (the same high school as Morgan, just a year ahead of her).
Hunter Yeaton

Corey met Hunter in college freshman year at App State. They lived on opposite sides of campus but Hunter really only slept on his side of campus and practically lived on Corey's floor when not sleeping. They love playing video games together and Hunter is the one that introduced Corey to PC gaming.
Jonathan Dickerson
Groomsman
Corey met Jonathan on the STEM floor of their dorm freshman year as well. He was the floor pariah for not being a part of the program. They used to joke that they never really saw him around the halls their first semester and then they had the pleasure of spending time with him their second semester and have been buddies ever since. Jon is the guy who introduced Corey to backpacking in the Grayson Highlands.
