Wedding Week Itinerary

We're beyond excited to have friends and family joining us in France to celebrate—not just on the wedding day, but all week long! In addition to the wedding and welcome party (which we’ll be hosting), we’re planning a few optional activities throughout the week—think local adventures, wine tastings, market strolls, and more! You’re warmly invited to join any or all of these adventures, or feel free to explore and unwind at your own pace. Please note: while we’ll be covering the costs for the wedding day and welcome party, any other meals, excursions, or activities during the week will be pay-your-own-way. We just want to spend time with everyone and make it easy for you to join in if you'd like! We can’t wait to celebrate with you and make unforgettable memories together!

Sunday August 24th

Day Trip to Nimes

Join us for a day trip to the historic city of Nîmes, often called the Rome of France! This beautiful southern city is home to some of the best-preserved Roman architecture in the world. We'll explore iconic sites like the Arena of Nîmes, an ancient amphitheater still used for events today; the Maison Carrée, a remarkably well-preserved Roman temple; and the serene Jardins de la Fontaine, one of Europe’s first public gardens built around natural springs and Roman ruins. Wander cobblestone streets, grab a coffee in the sunny town square, or enjoy a leisurely lunch at a café—this outing is all about taking in the beauty and history at your own pace.

Monday August 25th

Welcome Pool Party!

Bring a swimsuit and sunscreen - we'll be hanging out at the villa pool, sipping wine, listening to music, and playing games as we prepare for the big day.

Tuesday August 26th

Wine Tasting

Spend a leisurely day exploring two beautiful wineries nestled within the scenic Cévennes National Park. We'll start with a visit to Le Mas des Justes, a charming organic vineyard known for its commitment to biodynamic farming and expressive regional wines. From there, we’ll continue to Le Domaine de Saint Alban, a family-run estate with a warm atmosphere and a delicious lineup of reds, whites, and rosés to enjoy. Since both wineries are located within the national park, we may also take a short impromptu nature walk—or you're welcome to explore the surrounding area on your own. NOTE: **THIS IS THE ONLY EVENT WE NEED A HEAD COUNT FOR TO CONTACT THE WINERIES - LET US KNOW IF YOU WILL BE JOINING**
