FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that male guests where a button down shirt and dress pants. A tie is not required, but highly encouraged. For the ladies, we ask that you wear a mid to floor length dress or skirt; jumpsuits and pant suits are fine as well. We ask that you don't wear white. Ladies, please refrain from wearing a white dress, skirt and top, or jumpsuit. This also includes champagne and light cream colors. Gentlemen, a white dress shirt is fine, but please do not style your suit for the day with white pants. What colors can you wear? While our bridal party is wearing Carolina blue, our other wedding colors include light pink and sage green. You are more than welcome to incorporate those colors or other lighter tones like lilac, grey, khaki, peach, etc.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests may begin arriving at 3:30 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. It will be a hot one, so please plan accordingly. If you can stand the heat, great; take your seat as soon as you arrive. Think the heat will be too much? We advice staying in your vehicle until 3:50 pm.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate if you are allowed to bring a plus one. If your invitation does not include a plus one, please do not bring an extra person. Our venue is allowed a specific number of people, for safety reasons, so please be mindful that we invited our guests accordingly. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Both of our families have children big and small. We love all of you dearly, so if your invitation indicates that the kiddos are invited, bring them with or make it a date night for the two of you. For everyone else with no children, there will be attendees under the age of 18, so please keep that in mind throughout the events of the day. Thank you in advance.
