Rocky Mountain National Park - Beaver Meadows Visitor Center

If you have the chance, we highly recommend you visit Rocky Mountain National Park! Information about entrances and fees can be found on the FAQ page. Drive Trail Ridge Road

Even if you are not a hiker, there is something in the park for you! Trail Ridge Road is a must-do activity. The road is quite treacherous, so pick a brave driver. Entrance reservations are not required before 9am or after 3pm and a fee of $25 per vehicle is required. Highly recommended!!

The Stanley Hotel Ghost Tour

Have a drink at the Whiskey Bar or go on a ghost tour of the historic Stanley Hotel which inspired the movie “the Shining”.

Estes Park Visitor Center

You can find free parking and shuttles at the visitor’s center right next to a paved path along the fall river. Follow the path to downtown Estes Park for some ice cream! Here is a link with information about the shuttles: https://www.visitestespark.com/plan/getting-around/free-shuttle-buses/

The Sandwich Mafia

This place has very limited seating, but is great for pizza to-go or a sandwich to take on the trail.
