Question

How do I get in to Rocky Mountain National Park?

Answer

The entry points closest to Estes Park are the Fall River and Beaver Meadows visitor centers. Between 9am and 3pm, a reservation is required to enter the park. On June 1, 2021 the park will accept reservations for the month of July. Use this link to make a reservation: https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10086910/ticket/10086911. Please select the "Bear Lake Rd Corridor + Full Park Access" option. When selecting a time, if your ideal time slot is not available choose an earlier time slot. They should let you in after your reservation has passed, but not before. To enter the park there is a fee per car of $25 for one day and $35 for 7 days. Payment will be collected at park entrances and do not accept cash. Follow this link for more information and booking: https://www.nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/fees.htm

Question

What do I need to know about dining in Estes Park?

Answer

Estes Park is rather small and this will be one of the busiest weekends of the year; thus, dining will be rather crowded. Please make reservations when possible and consider takeout if waits are long. The Sandwich Mafia has great pizza to-go! More info and restaurant recommendations are listed under "Things to do".

Question

How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is located in Hermit Park which is southeast of Estes Park on Highway 36. When you enter the park you will follow the road for about 10 minutes until you see an open space and pavillion. Take the road which curves left and you will see signs and balloons indicating parking for the wedding. After you park, you will follow a small trail to the open space and from there you will be able to see the ceremony site. Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! Please bring them. We love children.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is casual. The wedding and reception are entirely outdoors. The ceremony will be held in a grassy field, so pointy heels are not recommended! The site can also be quite windy, so think twice before wearing a short flowy dress.
