Healdsburg Square has great restaurants, shopping, wine tasting, and more. Our personal favs: Marine Layer Wines, Duke's Spirited Cocktails, Roof 106, Bravas Bar de Tapas, KinSmoke, The Wurst, and Valette.
One of our favorite outdoor spots and a great go-to for whatever you're feeling. REGION. is a great wine bar, Crooked Goat is one of Morgan's personal favorite breweries, and Acre Pizza is a great way to refuel before shopping or wandering around the outdoor marketplace.
We spent countless hours out on the coast when we first started dating and then COVID hit because it was one of the only places we could go to get out of the house. Fishetarian Fish Market or Spud Point Crab Co. are great spots for some seafood and Patrick's Salt Water Taffy is always a fun stop!
If you want something different than your usual Wine Country experience, look no further. Safari West is a 400-acre wildlife sanctuary offering an authentic African safari experience with over 900 animals from 90 species. Committed to conservation and education, it invites visitors to connect with nature through guided tours and luxurious overnight stays in safari tents, supporting efforts to protect and preserve wildlife.
Located just minutes from downtown Healdsburg, Bacchus Landing is a great one-stop-shop to immerse yourself in Sonoma Wine Country. With 8 boutique wineries on one property, Bacchus Landing offers a complete upscale Wine Country destination.
Step into a living fairytale at Armstrong Redwoods, an awe-inspiring 805-acre preserve of ancient Coast Redwoods—some soaring over 300 feet tall and more than 1,000 years old. This magical forest is part of a rare temperate rainforest ecosystem, offering a peaceful, shaded escape that feels worlds away. The reserve invites visitors to explore its beauty through 9.2 miles of hiking trails, a visitor center, outdoor amphitheater, picnic spots, and self-guided nature walks. For the most unforgettable entrance, park at the main lot and walk in for free beneath the towering canopy. It’s the perfect outing for guests looking to explore, unwind, and connect with the natural wonders of Northern California.
With dozens of spots in the Dry Creek Valley, there's really no wrong choice; though Lambert Bridge or Reeve would be Morgan's personal recommendations!
If you're into cool climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, look no further. Bricoleur Vineyards and Flowers both offer great food pairings, while Lynmar Estate, Wren Hop, and Red Car offer some great cool climate Pinots. Iron Horse is a must if bubbles is what you're after!
