FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 4pm, and we encourage you to arrive to the venue about 30 minutes early so you can find parking and take a seat.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable while celebrating! Our backyard garden wedding calls for semi formal—elevated but not quite cocktail attire. Dresses, jumpsuits, and chic separates are great! Since we'll be on grass, opt for flats or a chunky heel. Men, think dress shirts and slacks; jackets and ties are optional. Please avoid jeans and shorts. Nights can get chilly, so ladies, you may want to bring an extra layer to throw on once the sun goes down.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception will all take place outdoors. Pathways are paved, but the majority of events will take place on grass. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love kids, we've decided to have an adults-only celebration. Thank you for making arrangements.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down, family-style dinner. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions we should alert our caterer to, please let us know.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available on site, but you are more than welcome to use Uber or Lyft for transportation as well. We want you to responsibly enjoy our wedding, so we'd like to encourage you to consider leaving your car overnight and take another means of transport home after a few drinks.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you join us in being fully present during our ceremony by keeping phones and cameras tucked away. We’re choosing to have an "unplugged" ceremony so that all eyes (and hearts) are with us as we say "I do." Don't worry, we hired a wonderful photographer to capture every special moment, and we can't wait to share those photos with you after our big day!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have not reserved a hotel room block, but there are plenty of nearby hotels available to you, including a few listed on our travel page. If you have any questions about nearby accommodations, feel free to reach out to Morgan.

Question

What Should I Do While I'm in Town?

Answer

We've listed some of our favorite places to eat and drink on our "Things To Do" tab. Feel free to reach out if you'd like more recommendations!
