Cozily tucked away just behind the main lobby, it’s a favorite hole-in-the-wall watering hole steeped in history. In 1937, when the lodge was nearly finished, someone noticed there was no bar. Improvising architects altered a wood storage area into the Blue Ox Bar.

Snowcat

For the ultimate Mt Hood experience, you'll be transported to the Silcox Hut on a snowcat. The snowcat is enclosed, heated, and has bench seating. We recommend wearing layers, gloves, and possibly snow boots if appropriate. All members must be able to walk on snow, enter and exit via a short set of stairs, and may need to crouch to enter and exit the snowcat. There will be two snowcat shuttles, 4:00pm and 5:00pm. Ride time will be approximately 20 minutes.

This event is semi-formal. The entrance has galvanized grates, so you might want to rethink stilettos.
Drinks will be available to warm up everyone from the cold outside!
Reception
6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

A candle-lit dinner filled with conversation, celebration, and great food. 6 PM - Cocktail Hour 6:45 PM - Dinner 8 PM - Dancing! There will be x3 shuttles back to Timberline Lodge: 8 PM, 10 PM, 11 PM

Hit the slopes and enjoy lunch with us before we all head home! This is not an optional, unofficial wedding event so the schedule will be loose. Feel free to make your own plans! We understand if you opt to ski Saturday instead.
