Celebrate with us

We met at our favorite dive bar in Oakland, The King Fish. It was Thursday night football and the Seahawks were playing – conversation was stirred over their neon green uniforms. We soon realized we had a lot in common (mountains and wine, oh my!) which led to our first official date on Beaujolais Nouveau Day (aka: Remi's birthday). The rest was effortless.

On a long weekend trip to one of our favorite places, Sun Valley, we started a trek to Pioneer Cabin. We were about 2 miles into the climb when we encountered a deep snow field across some switchbacked scree. Kyle attempted to motivate me to keep going but I insisted it would just get worse so we should turn around. At our final decent (the parking lot), Kyle surprised me on one knee. "The higher you get, the higher you get." See you on Mt. Hood!
