A one-of-a-kind hiking destination! Directions: From downtown Bryson City head north on Everett Street and continue on Fontana Road for about 2.5 miles until you reach the national park entrance called "Lakeview Drive." This scenic drive travels another six miles to the "Road to Nowhere Tunnel.”
An easy 2.6-mile hike, The Deep Creek Waterfall hike loop include Juney Whank Falls, Tom Branch Falls, and Indian Creek Falls. The trailhead starts from the large parking area at the end of Deep Creek Road (across the creek from Deep Creek Campground.
Hike 2.8 miles round trip to the Wesser Bald Tower on the Appalachian Trail, climbing to exceptionally beautiful panoramic views from a historic lookout tower. The trailhead is located at Tellico Gap (Turn on to Wayah Road from US 19/74 in the Nantahala Gorge, and turn left on Otter Creek Road)
