What should I bring?

Answer

Pack some warm clothes, sturdy shoes, and a raincoat (November in Appalachia can be tricky!) Bring a camp chair or hammock to sit on while you're enjoying the outdoors. You may want to bring some food/drinks to keep in your cabin as well.

Where do I stay?

Answer

We are so grateful that so many people want to celebrate our special day with us! However, our venue cannot accommodate everyone. You will have received special notice if we have invited you to stay at the yurts. We have held a block of hotel rooms in Bryson City to make sure everyone has accommodations. If you are unsure of where you will be staying, please contact us!

What are the yurts like?

Answer

The yurts are incredible, really. All of the yurts are equipped with central heating and air just like you have at home. They stay toasty warm in the winter and they stay reasonably cool in the summer. All yurts have a tile bathroom shower and kitchen amenities, just like a hotel room!

What time is check-in/check-out?

Answer

At Sky Ridge, check-in time is 4pm & check-out is promptly at 10am. For other accommodations, please refer to the rules of your booking. Your cooperation in this is highly appreciated.

What should I wear for the ceremony?

Answer

Is there parking on-site?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking. You can carpool if you wish, but there are spaces for everyone! The roads are very well maintained and cars without four-wheel drive can make it up to the top of the Ridge with no problems.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! All meals will have vegetarian & gluten-friendly options, but if you have a special request, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate!

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

For an additional $100 pet fee, you are welcome to bring up to two pets with you when you come glamping. We'll provide you a large pet bed and throw that your furry friend can use while you're here. Remember, though, that pets are not allowed in many areas of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, so if that's on your list, you may want to leave your pups at home.

We encourage you to! We have prepared a list of some of our favorite restaurants, activities, & hikes in the area to help get you started! The Great Smoky Mountains have so much to offer. We want you to get the full experience!
