I invited her over & the rest was destiny. We’ve been an inseparable duo ever since. I’m grateful to have found my best friend, a genuine soul connection in Karla & to have shared so many priceless moments & milestones. Karla is the proud Nina of my super smart, sweet, a little bit sassy 16-year-old daughter, Isabella. Karla has blessed us by being there since the beginning. Our homegirl ❤️ is one of my most prized possessions. I’m Liza Trujillo Kirkland. Karla and I go back, WAY back. High school to be exact. I’ve had the great fortune of growing together with Karla — I’m very grateful to able to call her one of my best friends. I am married to an amazing human being, Spencer, and we have two fur babies, Rocco (12 year old pug) & Pancho (1 year old rescue kitty). We currently live in Sacramento but will be moving to San Diego summer of 2021. In my spare time, I’m fortunate enough to be able tap into my passion for all things wellness.

I’m Pamela Roth, the older of Karla’s two younger sisters. I just had my second girl and can’t wait for them to experience the same sisterhood we had growing up. With these girls, Karla has been nothing short of the best aunt, doing whatever she can to spoil and love on them! She’s the best tía. I’m married to my husband Jared, and along with our girls Penelope and Lucy, we live a bit south of Karla, just north of San Diego. At the moment I am a stay at home mom, and though it has its difficulties, I am loving making memories with our girls. Some things I love are: going on hikes, anything Disney related, playing board games with my husband, taking pictures, road trips, and seeing things through my girls’ eyes.

Hello! I'm Isabel Moreno, the baby of the Moreno sisters. Karla and I are 11 years apart and growing up we weren't close. Imagine, I'm learning how to walk and she's entering her prime teenage years (scary!). However, once I hit my teenage years, she was the one that I would turn to for advice and look up to. She moved to Los Angeles when she was 19 so visiting her was always a fun trip for me. I loved spending the night, staying out late and getting to experience Los Angeles through her eyes. I currently live in Oceanside which is north of San Diego with my partner, Michael Taele. We have a toddler, Isla Rose who just turned 3 and our newborn, Matai who just turned 2 months! At the moment I am enjoying being a stay at home mom but looking forward to being back to work in December.

I’m Kate Phillips, sister of Michael Duffy. I was fortunate enough to meet Karla after she and Michael started dating. I knew immediately that she was such an incredible woman and we would be so lucky to have her as part of our family. I encouraged Michael to lock her down ASAP because I knew there wouldn't be anyone else more suited to handle life as a Duffy. I’m married to a wonderful man, Alex Phillips and we have a cute little loaf kitty named Kittah. We have been married for 3 years & live in Charlotte NC. I own Splatter Salon, and I am also a regional educator for Eufora International. I teach advanced education to salons in NC, SC and GA. My favorite thing is making people feel confident and special as well as sharing my knowledge to help others be the best in the industry.

Hi! I’m Melissa Sandoval. I moved to Los Angeles about 13 years ago from San Diego. And though both Karla and I moved here from San Diego, we didn’t have the pleasure of meeting until shortly after we both moved to LA and happened to live within a mile from each other! We have remained close since then and it has been so much fun exploring and experiencing LA with her and Scarlett! Since I moved to LA, I have been with the same company, Hollywood Production Center. We provide a home for the film and television community. My role is to work with different studios to find office space solutions to their varying production needs. It is a very high stress job but it can be a lot fun working with some really interesting people. I love it.

I’m Irene Legaspi from Los Angeles. I am fortunate to be doing what I love in the beauty and wellness industries. I help people feel good from the inside out as a holistic hairstylist and Ayurvedic wellness educator. Karla and I first met in what turned out to be a really fun night out in Los Angeles. We were introduced by a mutual friend. We instantly bonded over good conversation, cocktails, dancing and a late-night karaoke session. From the moment we met she’s welcomed me into her life and has become one of my dearest friends. Our love for good food, traveling, nature and creating memorable experiences are just a few of the things we shared over the years. A woman with one of the biggest hearts that I know, Karla has become part of my LA family.

As a household member of Stratford Palms I have had the joy of spending time with Mike & Karla almost on a daily basis. BBQing, pool time, camping and working out; they have become my extended family and I’m blessed to have them in our life. Originally from Chicago, I made my way across the country residing in Denver for 6 years. In Denver I met Denny, my special someone, and spent my days snowboarding, hiking, white water rafting, and enjoying everything nature has to offer. We currently live in Los Angeles where I work as a TV production manager on shows such as Shark Tank, People’s Choice Awards, and Bill Nye Saves The World. Overseeing the logistics to put together large scale shows keeps me on my toes and shooting for the “stars”.

I’m Gloria, Karla’s high school friend. I’ve known Karla for 19 years & it’s something that I treasure with my whole heart. It's been an honor to grow up together & see her through so many stages of life—even greater gift to be able to call her one of my best friends. I'm married & have two boys, Emiliano Ollin (7) & Enrique Ozain (4). My favorite things are: family & best friend time, the beach and summer is really what I live for, as well as traveling when I can. I'm grateful to absolutely love my job. I'm a wedding photographer, but I love photographing everything. I have even had the privilege to work alongside Karla & her team at Trejo’s, which is one of my favorite things. When I’m not photographing for work, I enjoy shooting my film camera & finding so many forms of creativity.

I'm Joey Duffy, Mike's little (taller) brother based out of Chicago. My wonderful wife, Melissa, and I have enjoyed welcoming Karla and Mike to our home and visiting theirs on several occasions, and in the past two years, we were happy to spend those times with our oldest daughter, Mary Reese (2). Recently, we've grown our family with Florence coming into the world, and can't wait for her to meet her uncle and aunt. As for me, I work in wealth management for Goldman Sachs and love reliving my college basketball career any time I can. I'm proud to reciprocate the Best Man duties for my older and sometimes wiser brother.

I'm Jonathan Flora, "Flora" to all, and I live in Raleigh, where I am a financial advisor with NC State Employees' Credit Union, with my even more interesting other half, Rodney. While Mike and others would struggle to make it to work on Friday mornings during college, I would leisurely stroll into Spanky's with my stack of newspapers for a late lunch and piecemeal order anything possible to make the guys have to run to the back of the restaurant. Other than this food and lemonade, I generally (and surely reciprocally) credit Mike with keeping me alive at UNC and during the many adventures since.

Mike and I met our Freshman year of college in Chapel Hill and became fast friends over UNC basketball, music and staying out past our bedtimes. Mike and I also once formed the promising amateur wrestling tag team duo, "The Southern Hosts," but life took over before we hit the big time. I now reside in Asheville with my wife, Carolyn, and our two energetic sons, Alex (4) and Grant (2). I keep myself busy working with healthcare technology startups and getting outdoors (hiking, cycling, running) whenever I can.

I'm Denny Greene, a founding member of Stratford Palms, the luxurious duplex community in the heart of Los Angeles where I share a pool and two laundry machines with Mike and Karla. I met Mike while working as a videographer in the early twenty-teens. A magical partnership was formed, and we began producing content for the music industry. These days, I work as a production sound mixer for networks such as Netflix, HBO, MTV, HGTV, NatGeo, and others. And to this day, I love the sound of Mike Duffy knocking on his front door.

Hello, my name is Isabella, but most people call me Bella or B. Since my mama is Karla’s best friend, I’ve been lucky enough to have her in my life for all of my 16 years. She was one of the first people to hold me when I was born and since then we’ve had plenty of adventures and sleepovers together. I live in Orange, California and am currently a junior in high school. My mom and I share the same love for traveling and I’ve been able to accompany her on many trips, most of which involve my favorite place: the beach. I am back home living with my parents in Ohio after recently graduating college with my degree in Business administration. I recently started my career in the health and fitness industry as a CrossFit coach and personal trainer. Michael and I share a mutual love for the game of basketball and the North Carolina Tar Heels! Big Mike is my Godfather and I would not want it any other way!
