Question

What do I wear?

Answer

We've included suggested attire in the events page. We can't wait to see everyone lookin real nice in their party outfits - but please choose footwear carefully - there is a 10 min walk to the ceremony site on bark chip paths. We will have a golf cart pilot to help folks with limited mobility. Weather permitting we will be outdoors for the ceremony, reception, and dancing. Please consider bringing items that will help you stay cool in sunny times and warm in the evening.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Are you staying overnight? -If no, please arrive no later than 4pm on Saturday June 10th, it's about a 10 min walk from the parking lot to the ceremony site. Early birds will note that gates to the property open at 1pm on Saturday after which folks are welcome to enjoy the property [just note you're on your own for festivities/food ahead of the ceremony]. -If yes, please arrive between 1-4pm on Saturday June 10th so you have time to set up your camp before the ceremony that will start promptly at 4:30pm [or if you'd like, you may set your camp up after 8pm on Friday the 9th]

Question

Can I stay overnight?

Answer

Yes! If you haven't already written us to confirm - please do so now! [moranske@gmail.com]. We will have a field for tents, ample parking in the lot for car camping, and a few RV spaces. The majority of campers should arrive between 1-4pm on Saturday June 10th. Setting up your tent ahead of the ceremony will help you avoid missing any of the events. Campers will have access to the bath house with flushing toilets and running showers. Don't have a tent? Please let us know - we have space in a communal canvas tent or some loaner gear we can lend you. Loaner gear needs to be arranged before Friday the 9th so it makes it to Colton. Folks looking to make a weekend of it can arrive Friday night after 8pm - you will have to reach out to us for arrival information as Camp Colton staff will not be onsite at this time. There will be lawn games and forest paths on site for campers to enjoy on Saturday ahead of the kick off of official events. Immediate family and wedding party have reserved indoor accommodations. We will have a quick breakfast Sunday morning before all guests have to check out at 10am sharp.

Question

What else?

Answer

For the safety of our loved ones, proof of up to date COVID-19 vaccination is required. - Being stewards of the land is important to us - with this in mind, please limit smoking to designated smoking areas at all times while on the premises, do not bring glitter, confetti, weapons, or anything exceedingly noisy [family members aside] and give a healthy distance to any wildlife you may encounter.
