What is the dress code?

Is the wedding child-free?

Answer

Yes. While we love your little ones, we hope you take the opportunity to enjoy this child-free vacation abroad, or at the very least, child-free night.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

No. Please RSVP only to whom your invite is addressed too. Please contact Brittany with any questions regarding invited guests.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The welcome party will be both indoors and outdoors. The wedding ceremony will be outdoors under a covered structure. The reception will be both indoors, for dining and outdoors, for dancing.

If we choose not to stay at the hotel, will there be transportation for guests from accommodations to venue?

Answer

Most hotels and AirBnbs are within 10 minutes from the venue. Ubers and local taxis are cheap and reliable. If you do not feel comfortable driving or getting an Uber/taxi, please contact us. We are currently gauging interest for the need of a shuttle to and from the venue.

Will there be an open bar?

Of course. Cocktail Hour and Reception will be open bar. Welcome Party will have cash bar and signature cocktails.

Is there dietary accommodations?

Answer

Yes. There are 2 meat options when RSVP'ing. Please contact the wedding planner at Eventos.OneHeart@gmail.com if you require more accommodation.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Historically, January in Costa Rica is perfect in terms of weather. This is the peak of dry season and the sun is typically shining bright. The average temperatures are a low of 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius) to a high of 80 degrees Fahrenheit (26 degrees Celsius).

Can I take pictures at your wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be 100% unplugged. Please refrain from blocking the photographer and videographers views with cellphones. Be in the moment! Guests are free to take pictures after the ceremony has concluded.

Should I arrive early to Costa Rica?

Answer

You should definitely travel around and explore the country before or after the wedding. There is so much to see. We will be hosting a group rafting excursion the morning of Friday, January 17th for guest who are interested. A welcome party will occur Friday night, at the hotel, before the wedding day.

What if I RSVP "yes" and no longer can make it?

Answer

We will certainly miss you! Please give us a head ups as soon as you are made aware that you will not be able to make it so we can let our vendors know.

Am I invited to the Welcome Party?

Answer

Of course! Every guest is invited to our Welcome Party. Please ensure you RSVP to the event separately.

Do I need a passport to travel?

Answer

Yes, you do. Your passport must be active for at least 3 months after your return flight to be allowed in the country. Please make sure your passport expires after April 20th, 2025. If you need to renew, there is currently a Beta program on www.travel.state.gov that allows you to renew your passport online without having to go the post office. Expected time from time of submission to new passport arrival is 2 weeks. Please note that currently, they are only opening 80 spots a day at 1PM ET for use of the online program. We recommend being on the application page at 12:59PM promptly with your new passport picture and old passport ready to apply. If you have any questions, reach out to MoranAFeeling@gmail.com.
