Flight
Flying directly to Olbia Airport is the easiest way to reach Orosei from the UK. EasyJet, British Airways, and Austrian airlines all offer direct flights to Olbia airport during the summer (from both Edinburgh and London). We recommend booking your flight as far in advance as possible as they book up quickly. We expect that the flights for summer 2026 will be released October/November 2025. From Olbia airport the easiest way to reach Orosei is by car or pre-booked taxi as the journey time is 1 hour and 20 minutes. Alternatively, directly outside Olbia airport you will find the local public bus. This bus takes 3 hours and leaves once a day and there is a tourist information desk in the airport to help purchase tickets.
Rental Car
If you are interested in renting a car for your stay, our friends and families have previously rented through Booking.com and directly from airline companies with no issues. Olbia airport has a number of car rental companies that can be accessed and booked online with ease. Alternatively you can pre-book a taxi transfer to help you make your way down to Orosei.
Travel Note
Orosei has plenty of accommodation options within the town centre, all within a short walking distance of the supermarkets, fantastic restaurants and local bars. Villa Nurru is also located just a short 15-minute walk from the centre of Orosei. Please note that the beach is approximately a 40 minutes walk away from the town, so access to a car or bike might come in handy during your stay! Travel Note
If you are interested in staying outside of Orosei we recommend the Cala Liberotto / Sos Alinos area (20 minute drive) or Gala Ganone (40 minute drive).
