Orlando International Airport

Direct flights are available into Orlando (MCO) via most major cities in the U.S. We recommend renting a car if you are flying into Orlando, as Ubers and Shuttles are quite pricey from here. It is an hour and forty minute drive (approx. 80-miles) to Vero Beach from Orlando.

Palm Beach International Airport

Direct flights are available to Palm Beach (PBI) from most major cities on the East Coast via most major airlines. We recommend renting a car if flying into PBI, as it is expensive to take an Uber to Vero Beach. PBI is an hour and twenty-minute drive (approx. 70 miles) from Vero Beach.

Melbourne-Orlando International Airport

Direct flights daily to Melbourne (MLB) from: Atlanta, Charlotte, and Washington Reagan via Delta and American Airlines. Elite Airways, a smaller carrier also offers service twice a week from Portland, ME, White Plains, NY and Newark, NJ into Melbourne airport. A great option if you are flying from one of these areas! Melbourne-Orlando is a smaller airport about 45 minutes north (30-miles) of Vero Beach. There are rental car options available, or you can take a shuttle or Uber to Vero Beach.

Vero Beach Municipal Airport

There is a small airport directly in Vero Beach, and flights are operated into/out of Vero Beach by Elite Airways. Elite currently flies directly to: Portland, ME, Newark, NJ, and White Plains, NY. Flights are on a more limited basis (1 or 2 times a week depending on origin), but can be a great option as it is a 10-minute Uber to the island from here. **NOTE: all commercial flights into Vero Beach are currently paused, as the runway is under going construction - Elite flights from Newark/White Plains are scheduled to resume as of March 25, 2022, so we recommend calling Elite directly to book.

Orlando Sanford Airport

A smaller scale airport in Orlando, Allegiant air operates out of Sanford, with flights to several cities at a more economical rate that some of the major airline carriers. Orlando Sanford is a two-hour drive to Vero Beach.

Located directly on the beach in the South Beach neighborhood, the Prestige Hotel offers access to the gorgeous South Beach, a pool and is a quick 1-mile walk into the island downtown area through one of our favorite neighborhoods, Riomar. *Transportation will be provided from this location.
