Rocky Mountain National Park is an iconic place to visit and only about a 45 minute drive from Loveland. If you plan on going, please know that they are using a timed entry reservation system so your best bet is to reserve your spot on August 1st. That is when tickets for September are first available. We also recommend going in the early morning before too many crowds gather. For those with children, mobility challenges, or concerns about breathing at 9,500 feet of elevation, we recommend Bear Lake Trail as an easy 0.6 mile loop that is accessible, relatively flat, but still stunning. For those looking for a little more of a challenge, we recommend trying the hike to Lake Haiyaha. The 4.2 mile out and back trail takes you to one of the most beautiful lakes that Sarah and Ryan have ever seen. The hike there and back is also stunning!
Fort Collins and Loveland are absolutely FULL of incredible breweries but none can rival the charm of New Belgium. If it happens to be one of the 300 days of sunshine the front range enjoys, it's hard to beat a cold beer outside at New Belgium.
Henry's is a great place to grab lunch or dinner within walking distance of the Towneplace Suites Hotel.
