Matron of Honor
We met during sorority recruitment in 2009 when Sarah joined me as a sister of Delta Phi Epsilon and have been best friends ever since. Through college we shared many inside jokes, adventures, Greek Sing late nights, froyo runs and a closet. We also planned a Europe trip we finally got to go on 10 years later! We may not be close geographically anymore but our friendship remains just as strong. We’ve been there for each other for highs and lows and I’m so glad she’ll be by my side on my wedding day!
Best Man
As the youngest, Cory had to put up with a lot of torture from his older brothers. Though I would argue it was mostly from Kyle... It was a proud big brother moment watching him graduate from college and now it is great to see him find his way in the world. Cory is a fantastic chef and comes up with some impressive vegan creations in addition to helping people get in shape. He will be helping me lose those extra pounds ahead of the big day. Most importantly, I can always count on him when I need anything.
Bridesmaid
Kathryn aka “Little” and I met at Pitt during sorority recruitment and she then became my little sister. She has an infectious energy and cares so much about the people in her life. Even when she’s off traveling and saving the world I can always count on her for a laugh or a listening ear. We don't get to see each other in person too often but continue to stay close. If you aren't on the dance floor she will be the one who will drag you on!
Best Man
Life wouldn’t be quite as interesting without the middle brother around to spice things up. Kyle is flawless. He has two Fendi purses and a silver Lexus. His hair is insured for $10,000. I hear he does car commercials...in Japan. He met John Stamos on a plane and he told him he was pretty. One time, he punched me in the face. It was awesome...and if you get this reference he will be your friend.
Bridesmaid
Molly and I met in 4th grade through rec softball and have only grown closer since! We bonded over a love for all things Disney and Disney Channel, the JoBros, country music and more. Living together for several years after college, we have shared so many laughs and memories. Molly was the first of my friends to meet John and she immediately approved (thanks in part to their shared favorite baseball team I’m sure). I'm so glad she will be there at my side on my wedding day.
Groomsman
Alex and I became good friends in high school and years later we became roommates. Always chill and always entertaining, he is quick with a joke and always has a new story to share. As my roommate, Alex had a front row seat as Melanie and I started dating. With everything we have gone through, including with the three of us quarantining together during early Covid times, I cannot wait to have him up there with us as we continue our journey together.
Bridesmaid
Dana and I were first year teachers together at FRES in 2013 and were brought together by the stress of the job and a shared love of musicals, tv shows and happy hour margs. We always tried to find more ways to spend time together at work, from sponsoring an afterschool club to just hanging out in the other’s classroom during our respective lunches. I miss seeing her every day at school now that she is home raising her amazing three young girls but am glad we’ve remained close friends.
Groomsman
When I first met Michael he was the 'crazy rugby guy' who that was moving into our college apartment. That could not be any further from the truth. From the late nights and 'getting put on the wall' in college to TopGolf and double date game nights now, Michael has become one of my closest friends. He is always willing to tell you about his fantasy team or talk about his pup Riley.
Bridesmaid
Freshman year of college, Caitlin and I found ourselves a few doors down from each other (Tower B forever) and bonded during that first week when you’re just trying to figure out where to go and what to do. Later in college we became roommates and sorority sisters. She’s a retired rap superstar, fan of the cheesy breadstick and now a wonderful mom to two adorable littles in addition to being a lifelong friend.
Groomsman
Need an energy boost? Jeff is the spark plug you need. From working on homecoming floats and putting on shows at QO to both of us getting married this year, we have been there for each other during some of the best high points of our lives. You will always catch him doing what he loves, including running the dance floor! I’m looking forward to the next no look assist.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is my darling baby cousin who is not a baby anymore. As the only two girls of the cousin crew we’ve always been close even though we aren’t as close in age. She’s the Dale to my Chip and the Double to my Trouble. I’m so lucky to not only call her family but also call her a true friend.
Groomsman
Andrew is Melanie's younger brother. He and I clicked during a family dinner and I have learned a lot about him in a short amount of time. He is passionate about things he believes in and enjoys and Melanie and I have him to thank for some of our favorite quarantine binge-watches (shoutout Taskmaster). You can always count on him for a good laugh or a spirited debate.
