The lakefront will be the main gathering area and where all the events will take place. There are 16 cabins available at the lake, first come first serve. So book early! There are also rooms available up at the main lodge. Any room cabin you get will be amazing! For those rainy days or when you feel like spending an afternoon in the Lodge, enjoy the Cascade Room equipped with pool tables, ping pong, foosball and more to appeal to all ages. You’ll also find a spa, two restaurants, pickleball, tennis, a library, trailheads, a private lake beach front, a petting zoo, indoor gym, library, art gallery, and gift shop. Use our complimentary EV charging stations, and two playgrounds on the grounds. Book a horse ride, or rent a canoe to enjoy our the lake during your stay.

Flight
SeaTac or Wenatchee airport
For those needing to fly in, you can I know, there is no easy way to get to the lodge, but it’ll be worth it. We promise! Most major carriers serve SeaTac, and nearly as many serve Spokane. To reach Sun Mountain Lodge, we suggest flying into SeaTac or Pangborn Memorial Airport in Wenatchee via Horizon Air, then renting a car for the 1 1/2 to 2-hour drive to Sun Mountain Lodge. Pangborn in Wenatchee offers two daily departures via Alaska to Sea-Tac (6:00 am or 1:50 pm), and two daily arrivals via Alaska from Sea-Tac (1:09 pm or 11:55 pm) Bellingham International Airport is an excellent option when the North Cascades Highway opens.It is 168 miles from Sun Mountain Lodge, about a 3.5-hour drive. The airport offers direct flights to and from eight destinations via Alaska, Allegiant, and Southwest Airlines. Or, rent a car in Seattle and drive over one of the Cascade Mountain passes. From Spokane, rental cars are available for the 3 1/2 to 4-hour drive to Sun Mountain.

Pilot Friends
For our pilot friends, the Methow Valley State Airport (S52) is the closest, near Winthrop. It is a 5,050-foot long hard-surfaced, lighted facility with fuel service available. The other option is Twisp, not too far away. Let us know if you are flying in and we can arrange to pick you up or leave you a car.
