Oldstoberfest Rodeo
The Olds Rodeo runs September 10–12, just ahead of our big day. Located south of Innisfail, it’s a full Alberta experience — rodeo action, good food, and a great atmosphere. Jen went to college here, so consider this a little piece of her history. If you’re arriving early, grab tickets and take it in before wedding weekend begins

One of Kyle and Jen's favorite spots in Banff, Park Distillery is worth the stop. Great food, a lively atmosphere, and their gin flights are a must try. If you're exploring the mountains, add this to your list.
World Famous Gopher Hole Museum
Yes, its a museum dedicated to taxidermy gophers. Yes, its incredible. The Gopher Hole Museum in Torrington is peak Alberta and absolutely worth the stop.
Royal Tyrrell Museum
Make a day trip to the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller. It's world famous for its dinosaur fossils.
Calgary Zoo
If you're spending time in Calgary, the zoo is worth the visit. From big animals to interactive exhibits, there's plenty to see- but make sure you check out the penguins. They're a favorite.
Hayden Block Smoke & Whiskey
Where it all started. Jen and Kyle had their first date here, and its still one of their favorites. Go for the whiskey flight, stay for the smoked chicken wings.
IRVINE TACK AND WESTERN WEAR
New boots for the dance floor? Canada's largest western store is just down the road. Grab a new pair of cowboy boots, a hat, or simply wander through the Western wonderland before heading to the farm.
