The Details

We cannot wait to have all our favorite people in one place. Below you'll find the details to make the weekend easy and fun from start to finish.
Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Moore Farm in Red Deer County, Alberta. Moore Farm is Kyle’s dad Dean’s working family farm and holds a very special place in our lives. We are so excited to celebrate here and share it with you. The ceremony will take place on the hill overlooking the farm, and the reception will be held in the yard under a tent.

Question

Where exactly is the farm?

Answer

Moore Farm is located 18 minutes east of Innisfail, Alberta. To make things easy, we've included a pin below to the exact location. There will also be signs on the highway. https://maps.app.goo.gl/WZgkuBxxz9Ey5Up78

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking will be available at the ceremony site on the hill and at the reception site in the yard. For ease of parking and flow throughout the day, we encourage guests to consider carpooling when possible. Please allow a few extra minutes to park and walk to the ceremony area on the hill.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We are finalizing shuttle timing details and will share those soon. If you are driving: • Parking is available on site • Please follow posted signage • Ride shares and taxi's are limited in the area, so plan ahead

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 3:00 pm. We recommend arriving by 2:30 pm so you have time to park, make your way up the hill, and settle in before we begin.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Wedding Day: Semi-formal with personality. Suits, cocktail dresses, something you feel great in. Wedges are or flats are strongly suggested for the hill. Leave those stilettos at home. Bring your best dancing outfit energy for the reception.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

September can mean warm afternoons and cooler evenings. We recommend: • Sunglasses for the hilltop ceremony • A light jacket or wrap for later in the evening • Footwear suitable for grass The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be under a tent in the yard.

Question

Is there a bar?

Answer

Of course. We're hosting cocktail hour, so your first round is on us. After that, we'll have a toonie bar for the evening. There is no ATM on site. Bring some cash, grab a drink, hit the dance floor. Late- night tacos from our Mexican food truck will make sure nobody goes home hungry.

Question

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

We will be serving a roast beef buffet for dinner. All dishes will be clearly marked with allergy information. If you have specific dietary concerns, please verify with the caterer.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

RSVP Deadline: August 1. Please be sure we receive your card by then so we can confirm catering and seating. Your RSVP was included in your invitation. Please fill out the recipe card and mail it back to us. If it’s been misplaced, give Jen or Kyle a call and we’ll get you sorted.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes. This is a family-friendly celebration and we love having your little ones there. If your children are attending, please be sure to include them in your RSVP numbers so we can plan accordingly.
