Kansas City is known as the City of Fountains with more than 200 scattered around the metro. One of the most impressive fountains is found on the Country Club Plaza, better known to locals as just “The Plaza,” where there are plenty of great places to shop and dine. The Plaza is designed after KC's sister city Seville, Spain and is filled with beautiful architecture, statues, and fountains.
The KC Streetcar is both a fun & free way to travel to some of our great city's nearby attractions, with one of its stops being Union Station.
Into craft beers? While there are lots of small breweries in the downtown area, the most famous is Boulevard Brewing Co. If you can throw kinda far, then it’s literally about a stone’s throw from Union Station.

Visit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum located at 1616 E 18th Street, just an 8 minute drive from the Sheraton and right alongside the American Jazz Museum, or hop on the streetcar and head to the College Basketball Experience and National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame in the Power & Light District.
