Is wedding postponed?

Answer

Yes, in respect of everyone's health and safety, We wanted to keep host our wedding to celebrate with everyone so that we first wanted to reschedule our wedding to May 2021 due to a coronavirus outbreak. After consideration, unfortunately, we might not know for sure when this will be happening. 갑작스런 코로나 바이러스의 급격환 확산으로 인하여 웨딩날짜를 계속 미루게 되었습니다. 정성스럽게 준비하여 기다려온 예식을 미룬다는 것이 쉬운 결정은 아니었지만 여러분의 건강과 안전을 위하여 연기하는 점 너그러이 양해 부탁드립니다.

How did you two meet?

Answer

Jihyun a.k.a. Moon decided to study web design in US and came to NY. Jaehyun a.k.a. Jay studied filmmaking in Virginia and decided to dive into the wedding industry in NY. Life in NY wasn't sweet as it sounds and they both felt that they need a companion. In September of 2018, they had a chance to experience coffee and bagel and then the rest is history. Here they are in 2020, they decided to get married and take a new journey together. 한국에서 웹디자인을 공부하러 뉴욕에 온 지현. 버지니아에서 영화를 공부하고 뉴욕에 온 재현. 2018년 9월 어느날, 커피와 베이글을 통하여 뉴욕에서 만남이 시작되었다. 첫만남에서 동료 찬스로 만남을 이어가며 연인으로 발전 하였다. 엉뚱함과 항상 웃음을 놓지 않는 지현. 온순함과 장난끼가 넘치는 재현. 두 사람의 인연은 우연의 만남으로 시작하여 1년 열애 끝에 두 사람은 2020년 결혼을 결심하게 되었다.

The wedding day is only the start of a life long journey. Moon and Jay decided to share not only in the joy of their love but, also to reaffirm and appreciate the love and the friendship they experience in their lives. Because you have shared in their lives by your friendship and love, Moon and Jay first wanted to host a celebration with everyone but, due to covid19 outbreak, the wedding was kept postponing till the unknown future. With lots of courage and love from family in Korea, Moon and Jay had a small family union and celebration in Korea safely. Thank you all again for your big support and courage. 결혼은 또 하나의 새로운 인생의 출발이라고 합니다. 오늘이 있기까지 많은 사랑과 도움을 주신 여러 친구들과 뉴욕의 가족분들을 모시고 저희 두 사람이 이제 믿음과 사랑으로 한 가정을 이루고자 했습니다. 두 사람이 하나로 출발하는 2020년에 모두 오셔서 따뜻한 격려로 축복을 받으며 결혼식을 준비하였지만 갑작스런 이변에 어려움도 있었지만 주변에서 끝까지 힘이 되어주신 모든 분들의 축복과 격려 그리고 가족들에 도움으로 조금한 소규모의 결혼식을 한국에서 할 수 있게 되어 기쁘고 감사드립니다.
