We are so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we are keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your formal invitation and when you RSVP.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be largely "adults-only" so that everyone can relax and fully enjoy the celebration. Children are invited only if they are specifically named on your formal invitation. We appreciate your understanding!
Since our wedding takes place in the summer in Northern Michigan, daytime temperatures can reach the 80s, especially in the sun. As the evening goes on, it can cool off quickly because we are right on the water. We recommend bringing a light jacket or layer so you can stay comfortable as we celebrate and party into the night.
Our wedding attire is cocktail attire, meaning dressy, elevated, and celebratory while still comfortable and fun. Guests are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses. While suits or a blazer paired with dress pants are recommended for men (a tie is optional but encouraged). Dress shoes, heels, wedges, or dressy flats are all appropriate. Rich colors, soft neutrals, and seasonal tones are welcome. Please avoid white, ivory, or anything too close to bridal colors, as well as very casual items like jeans, shorts, flip-flops, or athletic wear.
We please ask that during the ceremony guests refrain from taking personal pictures and videos as we have paid people to capture those professional moments. Afterwards, we encourage you to take plenty of pictures and videos to document the night.
Yes! This is an open bar wedding. Cocktails will be available during cocktail hour, followed by beer and wine for the remainder of the evening. No need to bring cash, just come ready to celebrate and enjoy!
Our ceremony will take place in Arcadia, Michigan, with the reception to follow at the Elberta Life Saving Station in Frankfort, Michigan. We are so excited to celebrate in these beautiful Northern Michigan locations and can’t wait to share the day with you.
More information forthcoming!
Our reception will be held at the Elberta Life Saving Station in Frankfort, Michigan, and will include both indoor and outdoor spaces. Guests are welcome to move freely between the two, so please dress comfortably and plan for a beautiful Northern Michigan evening by the water.
All guests are responsible for their own transportation to the ceremony and reception venue at the start of the evening. Whether you plan to drive yourself or carpool with friends, please be sure to arrive on time so you don’t miss any of the fun! P.S - We are working on a secondary option! Stay tuned for more information :) Yes! There is plenty of on-site parking available for all guests. If the drinks get flowing and you are unable to drive back to your place of lodging, you are welcome to leave your car overnight. We just ask that all vehicles be picked up by 10:00 a.m. the following morning.
No problem at all! Just let us know if you have any food allergies when you RSVP. If you have any other questions or concerns regarding catering, feel free to reach out to us directly!
If there is anything we didn't cover, just reach out! We are happy to help!
