Tulum Archaeological Zone
Km 230 Cancun - Chetumal, Tulum, Q.R. 77780, Mexico
Tulum is about a 45 Minute drive from Playa del Carmen. There are several other Mayan ruins around, feel free to explore more options. Tulum and Coba are the closest to Playa del Carmen.
Río Secreto

Only discovered in 2007, The Secret River is a pristine cave system with crystalline waters and majestic limestone formations. Just south of Playa Del Carmen, it is about a 15-minute drive.
