What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding attire is semi-formal, a step-up from casual but below black tie, think of comfort with elegance. Women: midi, knee-length dresses/dressy jumpsuits Men: full suit/blazers with dress pants

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors, in the same building. Ceremony will be at the Kuenzel room (first floor) and Reception will be at the Pendleton room (second floor) in the Michigan Union.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes early so you can find seating and settle before the ceremony begins. Ceremony will start promptly at 1pm.

Where should I park?

Answer

If you are an UMich employee and have a blue pass, you can park at Thompson parking structure behind the Union. Everyone else, please park at the Maynard Parking Structure (324 Maynard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104) at $1.65/hour. It’s a 5-min walk to the Union.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. There will be opportunities to take many pictures during the reception and share them in our album.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your children, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives parents a fun day off to relax and celebrate with us!
