Flight
If you're coming in from St. Louis (or elsewhere in the U.S.) you'll likely find direct flights to Boston. While those are appealing, we recommending booking flights with a slight layover that go direct into Providence instead. Boston can be a headache with lots of traffic. It's much easier to get to Newport from Providence.
Train
If you're coming in from New York or another nearby city, it may be easiest to take the Amtrak train. You'll take the train into the Kingston station. From there you'll have a 25 minute cab ride to Newport.

House Or Rental
Many of the other hotels in Newport can be quite costly. We recommend checking out Airbnb or some of the local inns like Mill Street Inn, The Bellevue House or Windsome.
