Is the wedding still in June, 2021

Answer

Nope. Lyle and Monisha have been married for almost a year and cannot wait to celebrate with all of you. Since vaccinations are taking a tad longer in other countries, they are choosing to wait until 2022. Stay tuned for invites!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please try to arrive promptly so we can all participate in a fun event, The Bharaat! The Bharaat is the groom's wedding procession that kicks off the ceremony. The bride's side will greet the groom's side of the family with music and floral boutonnieres Get ready to start dancing!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

THEME: Simple Elegance Women - Formal/Semi-formal dress/gown or Indian sari, lengha, or Anarkali -- no red or white, please. Men - Suit and tie (or bow tie) but feel free to wear something Indian (sherwani, etc.) if you want No jeans, graphic tees, sneakers, or flip flops, please! Can I bring a date?

We are allowing each guest to bring a +1. Please let us know if you are bringing a +1 on the RSVP card. +1s are excluded to couples who are both invited to the wedding (i.e. Husband and wife)

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love children, our seating is limited. We are trying to keep the guest list to 2 people per family. Therefore, we kindly request that you do not bring your children.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The Marriott Residence Inn in West Orange is 1 min away from the venue! Please check the "Travel" Tab for other suggestions

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Food will be buffet style so please let us know ahead of time.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be taking place at The Manor (111 Prospect Place, West Orange, NJ). There is self and valet parking.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. If you are concerned about transportation, we suggest booking a room at the Residence Inn that is 1 min away from the venue (walking distance).

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Please consult your invitation for any additional events.

Can I change between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We have 1 hour between the ceremony and reception - the cocktail hour. We do not recommend changing but if you would like to wear something more comfortable for the reception, we suggest requesting a room at the Marriot 1 minute away from the venue (shared parking lot)

How are you considering COVID-19?

Answer

We understand that times are uncertain right now. We moved the date again -- TBD in 2022 If you no longer feel comfortable attending the wedding, we completely understand. Please let us know ASAP. Of course, we encourage anyone who is immunocompromised and/or over the age of 60 to stay home and we will figure out a way to stream the ceremony.
