The days are beautiful and warm with temperatures in the mid to high 80s. Nights get cooler with temperatures dropping into the 50s. We suggest bringing a light jacket or sweater with you to the evening wedding events. Also keep in mind that mountain weather is unpredictable so check the weather forecast before you come and it's always a good idea to consider layers.

Cocktail attire. As mentioned above, a light sweater or jacket for the evening is recommended. Also, our ceremony will be taking place on grass so we recommend considering this when selecting your footwear.
Yes! We will have transportation arranged between the Resort at Squaw Creek and the wedding venue. Shuttles will run throughout the evening should you wish to retire early. If you are staying elsewhere, we recommend taking Uber/Lyft or a taxi. There is also some parking on site at the wedding venue.
The first few miles are great for all ages but the full hike might be too much for kids and non-experienced hikers. The beauty of this hike is that it has gorgeous canyon views and waterfall vistas throughout. So everyone can take it at their own pace and turn around whenever they decide. For those who make it to the top, there's a gondola you can ride down.

Yes! Even though Lake Tahoe is not extremely high, for those of us who live near sea level, you will feel a difference. What does this mean? Stay hydrated by drinking a lot of water. Also, to put it bluntly, a little alcohol goes a longer way at altitude.
