Transportation
We expect that many guests are going to stay in separate home rentals. Because of this, we have not set up any official transportation to the ceremony/reception for guests. There is an option for guests at the end of the night if you are not able to get a ride home: We plan to have a shuttle bus for the bride/groom and their wedding party between ceremony and reception. This shuttle bus (fits 20) plans to take 2 trips at the end of the night and can drop off only at 2 stops: Courtyard by Marriott Traverse City (3615 West South Airport Road, Traverse City, MI 49684) and Park Place Hotel (300 East State Street, Traverse City, MI 49684). It is difficult (we are told) to get an Uber from the reception venue. However, if you get a ride to downtown Traverse City via the shuttle (to one of the stops such as Park Place Hotel) and your hotel/Airbnb is close to the downtown area, you should be able to use Uber to get where you need to go. Cars can be left overnight at Timberlee Hills, but there is a wedding at Timberlee Hills the next day and any vehicles left overnight should be picked up by 10 am on Sunday.

For those flying in, we recommend renting a car or carpooling with others, as Uber/Lyft is not a reliable mode of transportation here. Renting a car is a great option to visit local beaches, trails, and more!
