Beaches

The Leelanau Peninsula has tons of great beaches to check out! Click the link for a guide to beaches near Sleeping Bear Dunes. Our favorites are Glen Haven Beach and Good Harbor Bay Beach.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore

The National Lakeshore is a nice place to hike or just hang out! Click the link to view more info on specific hiking trails. Our favorites include the Empire Bluff Trail, the Pyramid Point Trail, and the Treat Farm Trail. If you like to bike, the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail and the TART Trail system are good spots.

Lake Ann Brewing Company

Great drinks (we love the Mackintosh Cider) and live music. You can order pizza next door (The Stone Oven) and bring it to Lake Ann.

A lovely beer garden! There's usually a fire going so it's a great spot, even when it's a bit chilly. Hop Lot is also near the Leelanau Trail (https://traversetrails.org/trails/leelanau-trail/), so it's a great spot to relax after a run, walk, or bike ride.
