As some of you already know, we had originally planned to get married in Sri Lanka. These plans were canceled following the Easter Sunday bombings in April of 2019 which left more than 250 dead, 500 injured, and 176 children orphaned when 7 bombs exploded in churches and hotels across the country.
Instead of gifts, we are asking our guests to please consider donating to our cash fund. We will be taking a honeymoon in Sri Lanka and would like to donate as much of this money as possible directly to the victims of these attacks.

About 172 children lost at least one parent during Easter Sunday attack on churches on Sri Lanka. There are multiple charity organizations that support victims but Suren thinks most of them are not genuine. During our honeymoon in Sri Lanka, we are hoping to identify a church, school, or an organization that made significant progress and we will make a donation.
