Two hours from Portland, Rob and I spent the day here at a summer event early on in our relationship. It remains one of our favorite days together. The landscape is breathtaking and there are many cute coastal towns nearby, like Camden and Rockport.

Maine's famous potato donuts, they are popular, and usually very busy with a line out the door. There are two Portland locations, head to the one on Park Ave for less business. Monica's favorite flavor is the dark chocolate sea salt. Their iced coffee is also unmatched.
Their breakfast sandwich is a favorite among most everyone, Monica used to live down the street and walked here often for breakfast.
Hiking in Waterford for those who want to get outdoors during the weekend. The view at the top overlooks Bear Pond where the Inn is.
A beautiful island just off of Portland is home to the reggae fest every Sunday in the summer, beautiful Peaks Island Inn, sand and rock beaches, golf carts to rent to drive around, and delicious ice cream just off the ferry.
The summer month here are incredible, if you can, get here. It’s magical. Recommend getting a tickets beforehand. Roughly 60 to 90 minutes north of Portland.
This is likely the most popular place to get a lobster roll, picnic tables over looking the ocean and the beautiful coast of Maine make the experience all the more unique and memorable.
