Monica y Pedro se conocieron en el verano de el 2010, mientras el primer día de trabajo de Monica. Monica logró conseguir el empleo con la ayuda de su amiga Awilda Padilla, la cual es prima de Pedro. En ese entonces, Pedro se encontraba estudiando en la universidad y era también gerente asistente de la tienda de la cual Monica empezó a trabajar. Por otro lado Monica se encontraba cerrando el segundo año de la escuela secundaria. Durante ese verano y los años siguientes, trabajaron juntos y se hicieron grandes amigos. Lo que nunca se imaginaban era que algún día esa amistad se convertiría en algo más. Durante su ultimo año en la escuela secundaria Monica dejo el trabajo y con eso perdieron contacto debido a que tuvo que mudarse a Massachusetts para ingresar a la universidad. Monica se mudó, hizo nuevo amigos y aprobó su primer semestre! Luego durante la vacaciones de la escuela, vió a Pedro otra ves, estaban en la casa de Awilda, recordando viejos tiempos. Las horas se convirtieron en días y los días en semanas. Con cada día, su conexión se hizo más y más fuerte ... hasta que un día Pedro la invito a una cita. Luego tuvieron muchas citas y pasaban horas hablando por teléfono … hasta que finalmente el 5 de abril de 2013, se hicieron novios! Durante tres años y medio, Monica y Pedro viajaban 483 kilómetros constantemente para mantener una relación a larga distancia. Viajaron en autobús, en carro , en tren y en avión hasta que finalmente, en diciembre de 2015, Monica se graduó de la universidad y regresó a Nueva York. Juntos han experimentado todo: miedos, desafíos, muertes, alegrías, logros y sobre todo mucho amor. Después de 5 años juntos, Pedro se llenó de valentía y le propuso matrimonio el 5 de abril de 2018. Ahora compartirán una experiencia más - convirtiéndose en Marido y Mujer. Venga y únase a ellos para celebrar su relación y bendecir su unión.

Monica and Pedro met the summer of 2010. They met at Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Shop where Monica started her first job with help from her friend and Pedro’s cousin, Awilda Padilla. At that time, Pedro was a college student and the assistant manager while Monica was a sophomore in high-school, ready to be a register girl! During that summer and the years to follow, they worked together and became great friends. Little did they know that one day that friendship would become something more. The Fall of her senior year Monica quit Auntie Anne’s and with that Pedro and her lost contact. Monica moved away to college in Massachusetts, made new friends and passed her first semester! It wasn’t until Monica returned home for winter break that she saw Pedro again. They were at Awilda’s house and like old times began to catch up on the past year of their lives. As the hours turned into days and the days into weeks, their connection grew stronger ... until one day Pedro asked her on an official date! They went on many dates there after and spoke for hours on the phone until finally made their relationship official on April 5th 2013. For three years and a half Monica and Pedro traveled 300 miles religiously to maintain a long distant relationship. They traveled by bus, by car, by train and by plane until finally in December of 2015 Monica graduated college and returned to New York City. Together they have experienced it all: fears, challenges, deaths, joys, accomplishments and above all lots of love! After 5 years together, Pedro popped the question on April 5th 2018!
