Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotel has a shuttle that provides transportation into downtown Newport. Please keep in mind, this weekend is a holiday weekend in Rhode Island for VJ Day. Traffic will be heavy in and around these towns including Warwick due to beach traffic. Providence may also have heavy traffic especially at night.

When should I RSVP by?

Please try to RSVP by July so we can have an accurate final head count.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony so there are no interruptions or delays.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

All food is made to order so you can request the removal of any items you are allergic to. There will be a raw bar containing little necks and oysters to avoid if you have allergies. If you have an allergy please RSVP online and when prompted enter your allergies. All attempts will be made to accommodate.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the venue where both the ceremony and reception take place.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code should be formal attire. The ceremony will be outside. In the event of rain, a tent will cover the ceremony. There also is an outdoors cocktail hour under in a covered area but it may be hot out so keep that in mind.

Yes there is free parking in a large parking lot at the venue.
