We met on the dating app Hinge. Pat was so sweet but Monica was a little jaded and had been on dating apps too long so she didn’t give Pat much of an opportunity. Finally, after Pat’s persistence, Monica was craving tacos and decided she’d give him a chance. They went out and had tacos and margs (Monica may have had one too many) and the rest is history! #MargsLeadtoMarriage

Pat had surprised Monica with floor tickets to see Ed Sheeran for Christmas. Pat fought his way up to the front for a perfect view. When the song “Perfect” came on, Pat was raised up the ring to get Ed’s attention. Even though Ed didn’t see, everyone around them saw and started cheering! Meanwhile, Monica was oblivious. Towards the end of the song, Pat pulled out the ring and tapped on Monica’s shoulder. She looked down and was in total shock! Pat got down on one knee and Monica almost put the ring on the wrong finger she was so surprised! Turns out, Pat had asked the people around them to take videos when Monica had gone to get waters and they got it all on video! Of course Monica said yes and everyone around them cheered! The ring was perfect! The funny part: after Monica said yes, Pat rubbed her stomach, so when she posted the video online, everyone was wondering if she was pregnant! She told everyone she wasn’t but it was a good laugh!
