Question

How do we book the hotel/travel?

Answer

We have a complimentary travel agent, Kim Short, based out of Fort Worth who can coordinate all of our guest's travel and hotel. She worked hard to get us a great group rate that includes transportation to the airport and all the parks. We highly recommend booking through her as she has stayed at this resort herself and can answer any questions you have better than we can. Also, she will price match if you find better rates elsewhere. Additionally, there are some hotels with similar names and she will be the best person to ensure guests are booking the correct accommodations. She also allows guests to pay in installments which can be a great option as well. The hotel pays her commission so these services are completely complimentary and you will not pay more to book through her. Question

What days will Monica and Keshav be staying at the Hotel?

Answer

We are staying Thursday August 15th through the following Friday!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding will be "formal beach" attire. Keshav and Monica will be wearing traditional Indian attire to the reception and traditional American attire to the ceremony. It's going to be warm and humid, the last 3 years on August 17 in Riviera Maya was a high of mid to upper 80s. The ceremony/cocktail/and reception will all be on ground (no sand) so you can wear heels if you like. There will certainly be a variety of styles represented from khakis to tuxedos, saris to maxi dresses, so ultimately, wear whatever you are comfortable in and definitely dancing-friendly ;) Above all, please dress to stay cool and comfortable especially if you have any health concerns! **For the Welcome Cocktail Hour the attire is Beach Semi-Formal. Dresses/Saris/Khakis/Button-up Shirts (short or long sleeve)

Question

Can I bring a guest/are children invited?

Answer

We are here to celebrate marriage and family and all the beautiful things about community - so that means you bringing yours as well! The resort is very kid friendly with so many activities for young kids, but also, if you want a couples weekend - be our guest! There's also an adult's only section of the hotel if that suites your traveling goals. If you are single/dating you are more than welcome to bring a guest and of course spouses are invited as well. You can also reach out to us and we can connect people who want to share rooms.

Question

What is included in the hotel's all inclusive?

Answer

Food and Drinks to 9 of the hotel restaurants and 7 bars are included in the cost of the room as well as entrance to 8 of the XCaret Parks which include activities such as zip lining, white water rapids, snorkeling, jungle river tubing tours, tree high ropes course, and tours of the local Mayan Ruins and city of Tulum. Additionally, transportation to and from the airport and between all the parks is also included.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Cancun - Hotel XCaret is about 40 minutes from this airport (: Cozamel will show up online that it is closer but it requires a ferry to get to the hotel. Transportation is included in hotel costs from Cancun International Airport.

Question

I see Excursions listed on your travel website, should I book through there?

Answer

These excursions listed are not included in your stay and our available to anyone staying at any resort in Cancun. Because Hotel XCaret offers all of its excursions included in the cost of the hotel, we would recommend coordinating reservations at the parks, snorkeling/excursions, and tours through the hotel concierge directly: dxguestservice@hotelxcaret.com

Question

What if I can't come!?

Answer

We totally understand and still love you so much and know that you still love us. So much more than looking forward to our wedding day, Kesh and I look forward to the rest of our lives together. And similarly, so much more than celebrating on this one day of our life with you, we look forward to celebrating all of the milestones that life brings our whole lives together with you. Our sincerest hope is that no one feels guilty if they can't make it work for their family. You will be met with nothing but understanding and love from us <3 You can just let us know individually or RSVP on this site (: We truly view every single person that makes the sacrifice to come as such a sweet and undeserved gift, but we also know it won't be possible for everyone and we hope to celebrate with you in different ways.

Question

Are there any group events planned?

Answer

For those arriving Thursday, anyone is invited to join us at Mexico Espactacular - the show at XCaret Park. It begins at 7:00 PM and we will meet at 5:45 PM in the lobby to grab a shuttle there together (: You can also most likely find us at the Main Pool Friday afternoon!

Question

How will I get to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony site is at the base of the chapel - the large white Mayan looking building in the center of the resort. We are getting married in front of the stairs at the entrance. You can arrive there directly or meet at the hotel lobby before 4:30 pm to be escorted over.
