Cerro de Monserrate, Mountain peak.
The Basilica of the Lord of Monserrate or simply Monserrate Cathedral is a church located at the top of a mountain overlooking Bogota. While you visit Bogota, we highly recommended visiting this location, it has a beautiful breathtaking view along with a few restaurants that you can all enjoy while you visit. Tickets can be purchased on the website or in site (there may be a line) for about 27.000 COP.
Parque Metropolitano Simón Bolívar
Parque Simon Bolivar is the biggest park in Bogota, it's located in central Bogota and is roughly a 15 minute taxi drive away from the hotels we recommended. The park contains beautiful walking trails and a large lake which offers kayaking/boating rentals.
Salt Cathedral
The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá is an underground Roman Catholic church built within the tunnels of a salt mine 200 meters underground in a halite mountain near the city of Zipaquirá, in Cundinamarca, Colombia. Tickets can be purchased on the website or in site, there may be line.
