Question
When should I RSVP?
Answer
If you could kindly RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, that would be extremely helpful. However, we do ask that you RSVP by July 15th so we can have an accurate headcount for the venue and catering. You can RSVP on the website or contact us directly. If we haven't received your RSVP by the specific date, we will mark you down as 'not attending' and assume you are unable to make it.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is semi-formal Garden Party so have fun with sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter or neutral hues, and fun hats and ties. Pastel shades of greens and blues would best match the overall aesthetic!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Only names that were listed on the invitation are to attend. We would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. If the invitation is listed with "Last Name + Family," all immediate family members are included on the invitation and applies to all family members living in the same household and are over the age of 21 years old.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Although we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. However, the only exception will be made for our immediate family. We hope you'll take this opportunity to enjoy a weekend getaway in the mountains with friends and family and we appreciate you making prior arrangements. Friendly Tip: some family and friends are bringing along a babysitter to stay with their kiddos the night of the ceremony and reception, but you're more than welcome to bring them along to enjoy the rest of the weekend together.

Where is the closest airport?
Answer
Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is the closet airport and is located 1 hour/47 mi west of Rumbling Bald Resort. We recommend taking the route that comes in on the south side of the resort and tends to be the fastest route. Minnesota friends/family - Suncountry Airlines has direct flights to Asheville departing on Thursday and arriving home on Sunday. The next closest is Charlotte Douglas Airport (CLT) which is 1 hour 40 min away from Rumbling Bald; although farther away, we have seen more options and potentially cheaper flights available.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes! We have the resort listed under the accommodations tab of the website, so please check there for additional details and don't forget to use our discount code when booking!
Question
Is there transportation to and from the resort homes to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! Golf carts are one of the main forms of transportation at the Resort and can be rented at the Pro Shop for your weekend stay. Please call 828.694.3042 for further details.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Please let us know of any food allergies when you RSVP. We have several friends with gluten allergies, so we will have select items at dinner for you!
