Question

What does "Meet Us in the Woods" mean?

Answer

Quite literally, we are having the ceremony and reception in the woods! (Weather permitting, of course.)

Question

How should I dress?

Answer

Think a fall garden party. Your most important decision will be footwear, as the ground may be uneven and soft in some places, and there will be a short walk down a hill to the ceremony area. You might want to leave the stilettos at home!

Question

What if I can't walk down the hill?

Answer

Not a problem! We will have chauffeurs on-site that can transport guests who can't or don't feel comfortable walking down to the ceremony area.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

In case of inclement weather, we will have an alternate location for the ceremony and reception. If any changes are made, we will post updates here to the website and will also attempt to contact all guests by phone or email to notify you of any changes.

Question

Will I be cold outside?

Answer

October weather in Missouri is a tricky thing to predict! Even if it is warm during the day, it will start to cool down once the sun sets. It would be a good idea to bring a jacket or coat with you. We will have a fire pit to help warm you up if the dancing doesn't!

Question

How does the online RSVP work?

Answer

Enter your first and last name, and make sure it's spelled correctly–the name you enter must match how the couple entered your name in their guest list. Then, let them know if you'll be in attendance. If you're RSVPing for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for the entire group by entering your first and last name. Sometimes the couple requests that you answer a few additional questions like your meal options or travel details. Select the appropriate responses, and then click “Submit” to finish.

Question

I'm trying to submit my RSVP but it isn't working. What should I do?

Answer

If you are invited to multiple events, you must RSVP for each one. Make sure you select an option for each event. Once you have made your RSVP selection, make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom and hit "Submit". This step is easy to miss! If you have been given a "Guest" option but will not be bringing a plus one, you must enter a first and last name in the guest's spot and then decline the invitation for that guest. We'll look forward to seeing the names you can come up with! If your name is "James Miller," do not enter "The Miller Family" or "Mr. and Mrs. Miller" because the RSVP page will not recognize you. If you're having trouble RSVPing and don't see a "Contact The Couple" link on their site, please reach out directly to the couple to get everything sorted out.
