** Monazzah's Version ** Azim had planned a picnic of sorts. Unfortunately, the Seattle rain was out in full force so he specifically asked me to wear my rain boots. I did notice the unexpected windy, turbulent, rainy weather and thought, like any rational person would, that he would change the location of our date to an inside venue. Azim was stubbornly adamant on going for a walk in the Olympic Sculpture Park, one of our favorite places in Seattle. We made our way to 'our spot': a secluded bench under a tree along the waterfront, with an unobstructed view of Mt. Rainier. I vividly remember walking in the rain (without my rain boots) huffing and puffing about why we had to sit on a wet bench in the middle of a rainstorm. He was prepared, at least, putting a tarp down on the bench for us to sit. Then, Azim said the sweetest thing ever, got down on one knee, and made me the happiest girl alive! Later that evening, Azim invited my close family and friends to dinner and surprised me yet again! ** Azim's Version ** I proposed. She said yes!
