Matron of Honor
Marianne, better known as Marmar, is Monica’s oldest sister & first of the three girls. She resides in Fairfax, VA where she is married with two wonderful kids. Marmar is a high school biology teacher, but you wouldn’t think it if you tried her professional grade cooking (despite her being the only Egyptian who doesn’t like molokhaya). Any meal she makes, whether savory or sweet, will be sure to have you coming back for more! Additionally, the bride sparks a striking resemblance to Marmar. So much that her baby picture is actually in Mona’s high school yearbook. No, this was not done on purpose; yes it was too late to correct by the time it was noticed (which took a shockingly long time). Nonetheless, it makes for a great story!
Christina Mina
Matron of Honor
The ultra introverted Christina Mina *pause for laughter* is Monica’s other sister & second of the three girls. She resides in Franklin Park, NJ with her husband & 3 beautiful children. Don’t be fooled by her current residency. Christina is a die hard CT lover and takes any opportunity she can to let you know! If anyone knows how much the groom loves NC, Christina loves CT equally if not more! For someone who has visited over 25 countries in her lifetime, CT must be something special ;) Whenever you need a stimulating conversation (not only about the gems of CT), Christina is your girl.
Mary Banoub

Mary is Mina's one & only baby sister. She resides in Baltimore where she is an Infectious Disease Pharmacist at the University of Maryland Hospital. From a young age, you could see that Mary would be highly successful. She was very involved in church, mastering the Coptic hymnology and was valedictorian of her high school. Don’t get it twisted though, Mary can seriously spike a volleyball in the athletic arena. Recently, Mina found out that his sister is the only other Egyptian (Marmar) who doesn’t like molokhaya and it made him have vertigo. Mary is a master at baking desserts & keeping her room sparkling clean *again, pause for laughter*
Hani Guirguis

Hani & Mina met in their middle school days through church but really became brothers when they graduated college. They traveled frequently together & even lived together for a period of time. Hani resides in Orlando, FL with his wife & two lovely children & works in a senior role on healthcare IT projects. His laugh is the best and seriously infectious. You are lucky if you ever get caught in a Hani laugh attack. When he isn't running after his two kids, you can probably find him shopping for the newest pair of Jordan's or Apple devices.
David Rojas

David & Mina’s friendship dates all the way back to Kindergarten. They have often had a competitive relationship where they push each other to survive & advance in this world. Through it all, they shared so many memories. These 2 especially have a zest for their local sports team, no matter how bad & mediocre they tend to be. He resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife & two pups & works in a supply chain/logistics capacity for a Swedish enterprise. Mina & David have shared more chicken wings and sports arguments than humanly possible. #KeepPounding

Mika (Kit-Kat) is the daughter of Mona’s sister, Marmar. She sparks a striking resemblance to her mother and also to the bride! Often times, people think she's actually Mona's daughter when out in public. Mona of course never corrects people and enjoys the lovely compliment.
Maya Tawadros

Maya is the oldest child of Mona's first cousin who is practically her brother, Mac. If there's one thing Maya loves, it's dance! She has been dancing ever since she was able to take her first steps. Rarely is she ever shy, but if you want to get her out of her shell, throw on some tunes and watch her get down!
Joseph Bishara

Joseph is the son of Marmar, and also the first nephew/grandchild of the family! Ever since he was a toddler, Jo-Bro has shown a special interest in all things engineering to which he still enjoys to this day! From assembling various electronic gadgets and gizmos to producing stop motion videos, you’re sure to find his creativity bursting at the seams.
Isaiah Mina

Isaiah is the oldest son of the the bride’s sister, Christina. When he’s not running around bursting with energy, Isaiah is the most loving 5 year old you’ll meet. He’ll randomly come up to you and spill his limitless love for you.
Elijah Mina

“Did you know?” Elijah is the middle child of Christina. He is probably the most charismatic of the bunch, and he knows it too! His catch phrase “Did you know?” will be sure to always keep your attention.
Zoey Mina

Zoey is the newest addition to Mona’s family! She’s the youngest child of Christina and according to the groom, has way too much sass and needs to “tone it down, girl”.
