FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mona Saghri and Michael Dieringer
Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding is on Sunday, September 6, 2026 (Labor Day Weekend) in NYC at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

Question

What is the dress attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire, e.g. cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, elegant separates, suits & ties. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors (weather permitting), and the reception will be indoors. We recommend shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass and dancing the night away!

Question

Can I explore the Brooklyn Botanic Garden beforehand?

Answer

Yes! You are welcome to explore the garden earlier in the day if desired, but note you will need an entrance ticket if you plan to visit during public hours, which is before our wedding guest arrival time of 6:00 PM. Note, there are a limited number of free tickets available daily on the Garden’s website (they are called “Community Tickets”).

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, due to venue capacity we are having an adult-only wedding (with the exception of a few, e.g. children in the ceremony).

Question

Where do I enter at the Gardens?

Answer

Please use the following address for our wedding: 1000 Washington Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11225 Note, this is NOT the main garden entrance. This is the most direct and convenient access point for our event, which is at the Palm House within the gardens.

Question

How do I get to and from the Garden?

Answer

Lyft/Uber are widely available throughout NYC at all times, including late at night. If you prefer subway, the nearest stations are: 2, 3 trains → Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum 4, 5 trains → Franklin Avenue B, Q trains → Prospect Park

Question

Is there parking by the Garden?

The nearest parking option (just one block away) is The Loden Garage. Please visit their site for details: https://www.propark.com/facilities/the-loden/
