Papago Park

Very short hike with amazing views by the zoo. It also has a small lake/pond with grills, picnic benches. Bring your grilling items (coals, starter fluid, lighter..ect..) food and drinks.

Desert Botanical Garden

Enjoy a peaceful day out at the gardens and experience Arizona's unique botany. Even as a locals this is one of our favorite places to enjoy on a nice day.

Butterfly Wonderland

The Brickyard Downtown

This is one of our favorite cocktail bars and one we frequented often when were first dating. Food is good drinks are amazing.

Tempe Town Lake

Man made lake that provides the opportunity to get out on the water. You can rent kayaks, paddle boards and even a motorized doughnut boat.

Phoenix Zoo

Our zoo is like most zoos but has some region specific animals added to the mix (coyotes, javalina, desert tortoise, gila monsters..ect). The layout is really nice with play areas for kids, a walk around a lake, a trip through a small village. The zoo also includes a dinosaur exhibit.

Octane Raceway

Indoor cart track with a mini bowling alley and VR games setup. We've only done the track which was super fun.

Camelback Mountain

In the heart of Scottsdale Arizona this is a climb with great effort and great rewards. You might even see JJ Watt if you are lucky enough to catch him on one of his hikes. !!!!This is not an easy hike, bring good shoes for hiking and plenty of water. People get rescued off this mountain almost other day. !!!!!

Lost Dutchman State Park

Lots of trails to hike and if you are looking for a challenge with a great view, we'd recommend Flat Iron trail. Bring plenty of water and good pair of hiking shoes.

Wonderspaces Arizona

A fun immersive art exhibit. We like to drink at the bar and walk around and see all the attractions.
