Our Story

Two best friends who fell in love

We've known each other since middle school, (Molly was all about middle school Sam in his red sox shirts and his curly hair) We became fast friends our junior year of high school at good old ConVal! After many years of being best friends, playing Wii sports, going on shopping trips and secretly hiding our true feelings for each other the time was FINALLY right! As best friends we would always say "love you", but the day after we made our relationship official hearing those words felt so good. We've lived in Florida during the pandemic, moved back to NH and have been growing and supporting in our careers. We are each other's #1 fan. We are just two best friends who fell in love. Two best friends who love playing Mario Kart, watching our favorite TV shows on repeat, enjoy a beer or two and love one another unconditionally.

The Proposal

10.09.2022

After a long and stressful summer of working non-stop Sam decided he had to take some days off and planned an impromptu trip to Boston for us. A lovely 3 day getaway. Our 5th anniversary was 10 days away so we thought this would be a great anniversary gift! We planned to enjoy the shopping downtown, the light show at the Franklin Park Zoo, The Aquarium, and to treat ourselves to a fancy dinner since we've never done that before. When we arrived in Boston we walked around for a little near our hotel, got some coffee and made a plan on what to do next. We ended up doing our typical, finding an arcade and then bowling! We got back to our hotel and prepared for our fancy dinner at Davio's at Fan Pier Park. We decided to go there and then head to the Franklin Park Zoo for the light show. We had our great dinner at Davios, and enjoyed some delicious drinks too! We still had some time before the Zoo opened for the lights so we decided to walk on the Pier by the water. It was so beautiful at night with the lights of the city in the background. We left Davios and went on our way, on our little walk on the pier. It was so peaceful. I was just so happy to be able to spend this time with Sam after hardly seeing him most of the summer because of our work schedules. As we were walking I noticed Sam kept looking back behind us, I was confused as to why but thought nothing of it. Before I knew it he was taking the promise ring he got me off of my right finger, without having a second to react or really process it, he was on his knee. All I remember is also falling to the ground crying. (good crying obviously) To be honest I don't really remember if I said Yes, but he obviously got the hint. We sat on a bench so I could calm down and I looked down at my left hand and screamed WOW, because I didn't even look at the ring when he proposed. We cried, we laughed, and we celebrated. We went to the Franklin Park Zoo and looked at the lights, and then went out to a bar where they gave us a free bottle of champagne! The next day was a full adventure at the aquarium. What a dream!

For all the days along the way
