Molly and Michael have Psychology of Human Growth and Development at Appalachian State to thank. Michael was a little late on the first day of this particular class, and the only seat open was next to a beautiful brunette named Molly. All it took was grabbing Molly's notebook, in which Michael wrote "Hi." For the rest of the semester, "Hi" evolved into drawings, jokes and notes back and forth (it's a wonder they passed). The two were involved with other people at the time, but they made sure to never mention that part. After both became single, a handful of dates came and went throughout the rest of school with no outcome, as Molly was the master of playing coy. But this didn't stop the two from finding each other. After graduating from Appalachian, the two found themselves in Raleigh, NC. After two years of for real dating in Raleigh, Molly and Michael moved to Asheville. On July 22nd, 2017, Michael proposed to Molly on Roan Mountain, TN. After a "yes" and a shared bottle of champagne, the two set up camp for winds too rough for a fire, a deflated air mattress in the middle of the night, a lightning storm that rolled in and a lantern that ran out of battery. Needless to say, after taking on the harsh night after their engagement, Molly and Michael are more than ready for what's next, and they're happy to have you as a part of it!
