For a Southern Meal: Yardbird
A delicious, southern meal! We recommend going for dinner and ordering the skillet cornbread and the chicken. This is also located across the street from Kylde Warren park where you'll find food trucks during Saturday afternoons, or stop by Mi Cocina for a drink!
For Dinner: Hudson House
Charming spot with amazing cocktails, oysters, and one of the best cheeseburgers in town! It's great for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Reservations available on Resy.
For Drinks: Katy Trail Ice House
The best biergarten in town, Katy Trail ice house is a Dallas staple. Grab a summer beer and a table by the fire pits, but get there early - no reservations are accepted.
For Sunset Drinks: Canopy Rooftop
Located on the rooftop of the Canopy Hotel in West Village. This is where we had a surprise engagement party the day of our engagement! Stunning views of downtown and has been a staple favorite of ours for the past few years.
For Brunch: Haywire – Uptown
Our favorite Texas-themed spot in town. Delicious brunch (get the coffee cake in a can!) or dinner if you're looking to try some farm-raised TX beef. If you happen to come into town early, there's live music on Thursdays until 10 pm.
For Coffee & Pastries: Boulangerie Village Baking Co.
One of our favorite spots with a few locations around town! Amazing lattes and baked goods - especially the chocolate Kouign Amann.
