What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

The wedding dress code is Formal Attire. *Formal Attire* For Men - A suit is perfect. No tuxedo required! For Women - Floor-length gowns, midi dresses, dressy cocktail dresses (or even a jumpsuit!). Ankle-length, midi, or even something shorter but dressy is fine here. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside on the lawn. Please take note for your shoe attire. Block heel is best!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place outside on the lawn (weather permitting). The cocktail hour will take place on the covered barn deck. The rest of the reception (dinner & dancing) will take place inside the barn. Rest assured - there will be air conditioning!

How do I RVSP?

Answer

While formal RSVP submission will be enabled once our official invitations are mailed, we welcome you to share your preliminary attendance plans with us at any time. It will be our pleasure to accommodate you! When it's time for you to RSVP, there will be an opportunity to share your allergy and dietary restriction information.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting an after party at the Groton Publick House, located at the Groton Country Club. Less than 5 minutes down the road from Gibbet Hill. The event will run 11:00 pm - 1:00 am. Late night bites will be provided.

Please note that this will be an adults-only celebration, so you can enjoy a night off!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing bus transportation to/from both the Groton Inn and the Marriott in Littleton on wedding day. When it comes time to RSVP, there will be a question regarding transportation. Please be sure to note if you plan to take the bus and for which events. We need to provide accurate numbers to the bus company. *If you do not list on the RSVP that you will require transportation from your hotel, we cannot guarantee you a spot on the buses. So please be sure to let us know!
